Apple is reportedly testing a 200-megapixel 1/1.12-inch camera sensor for future iPhones, signalling a possible shift towards higher resolution hardware. The same sensor is expected to feature in the Oppo Find X9 Ultra, which is tipped to offer dual 200-megapixel cameras and a 10x telephoto lens. While the leak remains unconfirmed, similar claims have surfaced before. A separate report suggested the iPhone 21 series, expected in 2028, could be Apple’s first lineup with a 200-megapixel sensor.
