Sanchar Saathi is one of the premier initiatives of the Department of Telecommunications (DoT), which was unveiled by the Union Minister of Communications Jyotiraditya Scindia in January 2025. The Sanchar Saathi mobile app is currently available for download on the Google Play Store for Android users and Apple’s App Store for iPhone owners. The initiative aims to empower phone users in the country, allowing them to check the phone connections that have been issued in their names, check the authenticity of their handsets, and block their stolen or lost handsets.
